GREG THE GUITAR TEACHER

Greg is a truly gifted teacher. He is endlessly encouraging and makes learning guitar fun. His knowledge about music allowed me, even as a beginner, to be creative and explore a range of guitar skills. I could not imagine a better teacher. I wholeheartedly recommend learning guitar with Greg!

Greg's been an absolutely excellent teacher. He's helped me go from literally not understanding how to hold the guitar to playing songs I enjoy listening to myself. Would give 6 stars if I could.

I've been taking classes with Greg for a couple of months. I have to say that the classes are one of the highlights of my week. I am a beginner which means that I struggle with almost everything that we learn, and Greg is very patient and teaches me how to correct all the details. I highly recommend his classes.

Greg is an incredibly knowledgable player and a very gifted teacher. He tailored our lessons towards the material I was most interested in learning, and really helped me improve on the guitar.

As a true beginner, Greg has been the perfect guitar teacher for me! He really takes the time to understand what you want to get out of playing guitar, for me- it was learning how to read music and play to songs I already know with the goal of being able to write my own songs. In just a matter of a few weeks, Greg's hands-on teaching allowed me to be able to read music and play notes and chords. Greg is also always willing to take a step back with me whenever I am stuck on something and help me to work through it. He is an amazing teacher and I would recommend him to anybody at any level who wants to learn how to play guitar!

I had a fantastic experience working with Greg. He is a patient and enthusiastic teacher. We started with some theory basics to get me more comfortable on the guitar, and we quickly moved on to playing songs of my choosing! He takes your preferences into account and is very collaborative. I highly recommend working with Greg!

Greg is an amazing teacher! He is kind, patient, and flexible, in addition to being a very knowledgeable musician. You can tell he has experience teaching students with vastly different learning styles (visual vs auditory vs kinesthetic), and he adapts based on what's working best for you. He also has insight to offer about the music theory behind each step in the process; he's super invested in making sure you understand what you're doing as you learn the techniques.

Greg was a great guitar teacher for my son. He is extremely patient with kids. He has a great sense of humor and provides a low pressure environment where students of all ages feel comfortable. I highly recommend him!
